San Diego is filled with hundreds of great golf courses and golf enthusiasts. Given that golf is so popular in this region it should come as no surprise that many organizations around the region hold charity golf tournaments. The Burn Institute is fortunate to be the beneficiary of several of these tournaments each year.
San Diego County Fire Chiefs Association Golf Tournament
Held each September, this golf tournament draws a crowd of about 200 people. Fire Chiefs and friends of the Burn Institute come from all over to participate in this upscale golf tournament. Volunteers are needed to help acquire items for the silent auction, registration check in and more.
Fire on the Fairways
This golf tournament, held in October, is hailed as a “golf tournament for firefighters, by firefighters.” Volunteers are needed to help acquire items for the silent auction, registration check in and more.
Bomberos De San Diego Golf Tournament
This golf tournament is hosted by the Bomberos de San Diego and is held each May. Volunteers are needed to help acquire items for the silent auction, registration check in and more.
