The Burn Institute prides itself on being a resource to the community.
In keeping with this goal, the Institute has worked diligently to develop and strengthen its strong relationship with schools, service clubs and other community-based organizations – and in particular the fire service – throughout San Diego and Imperial counties.
Examples of the Burn Institute’s commitment to the community include public service announcements, speakers bureau, the Red Guide to Recovery Resource Handbook for Disaster Survivors and the annual Spirit of Courage Awards Banquet.
